Addison Street in Chicago on Thursday, November 2nd between 3:30pm and 7:30pm.Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to CICS Irving Park.

High School Applications are LIVE!Source: Kids First CPS’s application window for the 2018-19 school year opens today! Incoming 9th graders can apply between October 10th and December 22nd. 8th Grade parents and students should visit go.cps.edu to activate your account, review your eligibility, and start researching your school and program options. Take your time to research your options thoroughly, looking for high-quality schools and programs that are a good fit for your student’s interests and your family’s needs. 40 area high schools will be presenting at the fair in addition to Distinctive Schools partners from across the city of Chicago. Parents are welcome to attend the fair during the following times: CICS Irving Park & CICS West Belden: 10am-11am, and CICS Bucktown & CICS Prairie: 11am-12pm. Dear Parents,![]() Chartwells is a nationally known food service management company that has earned an award-winning reputation for their childhood nutrition and education programs. Starting this fall, your students will experience new breakfast and lunch menus featuring fresh, healthy, high-quality, and delicious options that are cooked with care and passion. Like you, we know that students who are well fed and nourished will excel in the classroom, so we have been working with Chartwells over the last few weeks to craft a new food service program that reflects the wholesome and nutritious options our students deserve. Our first month menu will be available online next week. As with any new program kick-off, we need your support and feedback to ensure we are serving your children well. Our recipe for success has one essential ingredient – feedback!
