Just as all members of the PTO, the board consists of parents/guardians dedicated to supporting CICS Irving Park school.  In addition to planning and leading PTO meetings and leading or serving on committees for key fundraising and social events, the Board approves expenditures and strategies for future development. They accept recommendations by parents and CICS-IP staff and present new ideas to allocate funds raised by the Puma PTO (note: all spending must benefit all students of CICS-IP). By majority vote, the Board approves expenditures within the limit of the budget and approves changes to such budget if necessary and appropriate.
